The wreck occurred at about 1:20 p.m. in the 1900 block of Old Raleigh Road in Apex, police said. Marc Allen Whyte, 45, was killed.

<b>APEX, N.C.</b> — An Apex man died Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle wreck, police said.

No other details of the incident were released.

Police said the wreck remains under investigation, but it doesn't appear that alcohol was a factor.
