Apex man charged in stabbing death
Charles Leon Horton faces a first-degree murder charge in the death of a Ronald Deon Dunn.

Police arrested an Apex man early Friday and charged him in connection with the fatal stabbing of another man.
Charles Leon Horton Jr., 31, of Stephenson Road, was charged with murder and placed in Wake County Jail without bond. His first court appearance was expected Friday afternoon.
His alleged victim was Ronald Deon Dunn, 37, of Goolsby Court in Apex.
Holly Springs police received a report about 12:45 a.m. about a fight at Sunset Lake Mobile Home Park in the 4700 block of Sunset Lake Road.
When officers arrived, they found Dunn in a driveway. A rescue crew took him to WakeMed, where doctors pronounced him dead.
Holly Springs Fire-Rescue took the man to Wake Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Horton was arrested about two hours later at a residence on Blalock Street in Holly Springs.
Police are still investigating the case but said they do not expect to make any other arrests.
