I absolutely agree !! Im not saying the man is guilty or innocent im just saying it is a known fact that some children are deceitful when they dont get what they want or if they are disciplined in any given matter. lets just wait and see what a jury says before we all condemn the man !!

between_the_lines, your comment was actually pretty funny, hurtful yet funny.
You're saying we should have no faith in ourselves and just trust a "concept" of a God that nobody's ever seen, heard, etc? Where different faiths have different concepts of what the "God" is in the first place? Geez, you must be a real hoot at a party. Are there no agnostic/atheist successful people in the world?

hahahaha faith in yourself?? please tell me, where does that get you in life?

  • devilblue Feb 8, 2011

UNC PH.d, I couldn't agree with you more. I do not believe in any religion, period. I have faith in myself and that is all I need.

You might be right JKKC...but if you run the numbers, it envolves way more men vs. women statiscally. Unless you are goign to tell me that women are more clever and don't get caught as often. Stick with the facts.

@Happyheart, a Christian living "correctly" doesn't mean he or she is any better or "well behaved with morals" than a Hindu, Jew, Muslim, Wiccan, Buddist, etc. You don't see anyone try to convert people harder than do Christians. Not necessarily a bad thing, but let people make up their own minds. And scaring them with the concept of "Hell" is ridiculous, many religions don't even have a concept of Hell. No one religion is "right" for all people, and no one religion is the "be all, end all absolute truth", no matter how hard you believe your particular faith is right. If it gives you a good moral base, then go with it. How dare you push your beliefs on others like that.

  • UNC PH.d Feb 8, 2011

That's exactly the point Happyheart, you believe what you want, read what you want, and it doesn't matter. Joe Blow Hindu in India doesn't care what the Christian Bible says. That points to the only logical conclusion, nobody knows who's right. The Bible was patched together in 325 AD, and the books that were intentionally left out told stories that went against what the Roman emperor didn't want Christians believing. So therefore, we have the modern Bible. Please learn some history.

Happyheart, Satan doesn't exist. It's a Christian concept allowed into the Bible at the First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. Judaism says Hell is life on Earth, the afterlife is nothing but Heaven. Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism have similar concepts, although they have concepts of "Evil", but it's not personified as "Satan". Please learn the history of your faith before you decide to choose to believe the "junk" that's been fed to you since you were little.

Nothing surprises me anymore. Society today has sex so out in the open everywhere you look from television, to clothes, to videos and the list goes on and on. I have a daughter in high school and the behavior and attitudes about sex are completely different than 20 years ago and that is not a good thing.
