A bomb squad from Seymour Johnston Air Force Base assisted Goldsboro police Thursday morning in responding to a bomb threat at a local business, authorities said.

The 4th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was called at about 10 a.m. to help with a bomb threat on East Ash Street, authorities said.
