A&T student dies after being shot at party

— Police are investigating the shooting death of a student at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro.

Dorian Edwards, 19, of Atlanta, was shot after a fight at a party on Perkins Street just after midnight Saturday. He was taken to Moses Cone Hospital, where he later died.

No arrests have been made, and police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000. Crime Stoppers pays cash for confidential tips leading to arrests.

    When their child grow up and then off to college, parents becomes really concern if their child is doing OK. Many times they are and many times they are not. Pray for this young man's family, students and A&T University family. My condolences to all of you.

    Dorian Edwards is actually from Wilson, NC. He graduated from Beddingfield High School this past year.
