MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. — Duplin County sheriff's deputies and the State Bureau of Investigation were searching for three men wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of one man and the wounding of another early Sunday.

The incident happened at School House Branch Lane and Garner Chapel Road, deputies said.

Freddie Masical, whose age and address were not immediately available, was found dead of multiple stab wounds, they said. Masical was near mailboxes at the entrance to a mobile-home park.

The second man, whose identity authorities withheld, was stabbed in the hand.

The suspects were described as three Hispanic males, one of them weighing between 175 and 180 pounds and sporting a mustache.

The men fled in a white Ford Mustang, believed to be a 2000 to 2003 model, deputies said.
