FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two men were shot early Friday morning during an altercation in the parking lot of a Fayetteville auto parts store, police said.

Fayetteville police officers responded to the Advance Auto Parts store at 116 N. Eastern Blvd. around 12:55 a.m. Authorities said two men, aged 26 and 29, were shot and seriously injured by unknown suspects.

The fight began at the DHP club next to the Advance Auto Parts—the businesses share a parking lot. The owner of the club said they were hosting a concert when two people began arguing.

Both men were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center to be treated. Police did not release their identities or conditions.

Anyone with information about the shooting should call Det. J. Bisner at 910-676-2597 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
