2 people injured in Fayetteville house fire

One person had to be rescued Tuesday from a burning home in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One person had to be rescued Tuesday from a burning home in Fayetteville.
Firefighters responded to the fire around 10:30 a.m. on Louise Street near Skibo and Raeford roads.

Officials said the person who was rescued and another person in the home were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Their conditions are not known.

Investigators are trying to determine how the fire started.

Another fire was reported in Fayetteville on Tuesday at a home on Ridgecrest Drive. Firefighters have not said what caused the fire or whether anyone was hurt.
