2 jailed with $2.5M bonds in Chapel Hill armed robbery, heroin trafficking arrests

Chapel Hill police on Monday charged three people with trafficking heroin after a man reported he was robbed at a motel.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill police on Monday charged three people with trafficking heroin after a man reported he was robbed at a motel.

Officers responded around 4:45 p.m. to the Red Roof Inn on Fordham Boulevard after a man said he went there to see a woman he met online and she robbed him. Hotel employees were able to identify the room where the suspect was staying.

When officers arrived, they found three people in the room. Devyn Linn Ford, 19, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, and trafficking heroin. She was jailed under a $2.5 million secured bond.

Kylee Dawn Ford, 38, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and trafficking heroin. She was given a $2.5 million secured bond.

Davonte Leon Graves, 21, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a $1,000 secured bond.
