15-year-old shot in head at Raleigh home
A teenager was shot in the head early Friday morning at a residence in Raleigh, officials said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A teenager was shot in the head early Friday morning at a residence in Raleigh, officials said.
The Raleigh Police Department responded just before 12:30 a.m. to a home in the 3700 block of Macinac Island lane. When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to WakeMed with serious injuries.
Police are still investigating the incident, and the victim's name has not been released.
