Fayetteville, N.C. — The city of Fayetteville has received 131 applications for former Police Chief Tom Bergamine's position.
A spokesman for the city said Friday that the application period closed Oct. 5 and that the applications will be reviewed this month.
Bergamine retired in July after more than five years on the job.
