1 Killed in Fayetteville Wreck
A motorcyclist was killed late Tuesday in a wreck on Cliffdale Road, police said.
Posted — UpdatedClinton P. Haycraft, 54, of 1105 Oakstone Drive, was northbound on Cliffdale Road when he collided with a southbound 1996 Mercury making a left turn onto Hoke Loop Road at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, police said. Haycraft was pronounced dead at Womack Army Medical Center.
The driver of the car, Tatyana J. Russell, 16, of 6727 Interban Drive, was cited for failure to see before turning and violation of driver’s license restrictions.
The wreck remains under investigation. No charges related to Haycraft's death had been filed by Wednesday morning.
