1 dead in Fayetteville crash
A person was killed in a crash in Fayetteville on Thursday afternoon, and another had to be extracted from a vehicle.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A person was killed in a crash in Fayetteville on Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened before 3:15 p.m. on Cliffdale Road between Marshtree Lane and Prestige Boulevard.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person was trapped in a vehicle and was extracted by first responders.
Their identities have not been released.
Cliffdale Road reopened after 6:30 p.m. after being closed while officers investigated.
