One man killed, two seriously injured in Durham shooting
One man is dead and two more are injured after a shooting Tuesday in Durham.
According to the Durham Police Department, officers received a report of a shooting around 11:45 p.m. in the 400 block of West Club Boulevard.
When officers arrived, they found three men who had been shot. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, and EMS took the other two to a hospital. The two men remain hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
This was the second of two shootings Tuesday night. Less than two hours earlier, a juvenile was killed and a woman was shot on South Street.
Both investigations are ongoing.
As of April 27, ten people under the age of 18 have been shot in Durham. After Tuesday's shooting, that number now stands at 11.
In 2023, 35 people under the age of 18 were shot in Durham, according to durhamnc.gov.
