Residents of Eastover will need to boil their water until further notice.

The Eastover Sanitary District issued a low water pressure advisory Thursday.

The Eastover Sanitary District said a main waterline was hit Thursday afternoon causing a leak. This means customers in the district could experience low pressure.

"As a precaution and until additional testing can confirm the absence of coliform bacteria, you are advised to boil all water used for human consumption or use bottled water," the district said on its website. "Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice."
