Zimmer response to lawsuit

As a general rule, Zimmer does not respond to general media inquiries regarding the clinical use or application of our products, and this is especially so when relating to a particular patient situation, as in this case. That said, like any responsible medical device manufacturer, we do take great care to provide appropriate training to Health Care Professionals on the safe and effective use of our products within FDA-approved indications. These capable professionals then determine, acting in their best clinical judgment, appropriate applications for our products.
