RALEIGH, N.C. — A Zebulon man charged with child sex offenses has been ordered held under $2 million bond, according to arrest warrants.

James Hubert Brantley, 31, was charged last week with two counts each of first-degree statutory sex offense and indecent liberties with a child after his arrest in Wake Forest.

The crimes were alleged to have occurred between December 2015 and last January with a child who was younger than 13 when the alleged abuse began, according to warrants.

Brantley was ordered to have no contact with anyone under age 16 if he is released on bond.
