Youths charged in Farmville 13-year-old's death

Farmville, N.C. — A 13-year-old Pitt County boy died Wednesday after being shot, authorities said.
Pitt County deputies responded to a reported shooting at 3928 Cobb Dail Road in Farmville shortly before 2 p.m. and found Elijah Lonnell Williams wounded.
Williams was taken to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, where he died.
Investigators have charged one juvenile with murder, and other juveniles face other charges in the case, authorities said.
Authorities didn't disclose how many youths are involved, their ages or what other charges are pending. Their names weren't released because they are juveniles.
The shooting remains under investigation.
