We compiled a list of some of the First Friday events going on Nov. 2.

First Friday

It only happens once a month, but First Friday is a great way to see experience downtown Raleigh. The next First Friday event is November 2.

Events run from 6-9 p.m., unless otherwise noted, and involve tons of galleries, restaurants and other venues in downtown Raleigh.

All places participating in First Friday will have flags outside.

Our Best Bet for this month's First Friday:
Nicole's Studio & Art Gallery is hosting the encore reception of The Carolina Ballet on Canvas, an exhibition of 20 oil paintings by Raleigh artist Nicole White Kennedy. The paintings depict the graceful movements of the dancers through the dramatic use of light and shadow.
