Your guide to Beericana craft beer fest
Beericana is Saturday at Sugg Farm Park in Holly Springs.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — The annual Beericana craft beer festival is Saturday at Sugg Farm Park.
Here are a few tips for attending this year's festival:
- Use the app and make a plan. All breweries and their beers are loaded on the app, that way you’re not wandering around wondering what to expect. Also check out the festival map
- It's a marathon, not a sprint. There's plenty of beer to go around. Take your time, run into your friends and acquaintances, enjoy the experience. It's not a race to get drunk.
- Drink as much water as you can! Beericana will have 5,000 bottles of water for you and they're all FREE! Stay hydrated!
- Take advantage of the food trucks. First off, you need a good base for all that beer. Plus, Beericana will have 15 delicious food trucks that typically have huge lines at rodeos.
- Don't wait until it's too late to go to the bathroom. Yes, Beericana will have a ton of bathrooms, but give yourself enough time in case you have to wait a few minutes.
- Wear sunscreen. Bring a hat. Maybe even a change of shirts. Trust me.
- Bring a bag for schwag! Plenty of Beericana and brewery merchandise will be available for you to purchase, so bring a bag to carry what you buy.
- Don’t drink and drive. Ride sharing services and taxis are more than happy to get you to and from Beericana.
- If you see me or Lauren Brownlow, don’t tweet at us. Come up and say hello. We don’t bite
