Raleigh, N.C. — A young girl who helped inspire the Carolina Hurricanes during their 2006 Stanley Cup run died Tuesday.
Julia Rowe, 8, died after a long fight with leukemia.
When the Cane’s won the Stanley Cup, Rowe helped cut player Mike Commodore's red hair for a cancer fundraiser.
