If you are a fan of romantic comedies, you may have enjoyed the 2010 film “Letters to Juliet.” In the movie, a young woman played by Amanda Seyfried visits a wall in Verona, Italy where heartbroken visitors leave notes to Juliet Capulet.

The Romance of Juliet’s House
While “Romeo and Juliet” was not based on a true story and the house has no connection to the Bard of Avon’s famous play, throngs of people from around the world come to visit the site.
They gaze at the balcony, which looks like it came right out of a fairy tale, or the bronze statue of Juliet at the Gothic-style house once owned by a family named Cappelletti, which is not a far stretch from Capulet. Or they engage in the tradition of sending Juliet a letter.
