Remember your childhood dream of having an owl drop off your very own letter inviting you to attend Hogwarts? Nearly every pre-teen was disappointed when their letter never came – but now you can stay the night in a Harry Potter-themed tree house with panoramic views of the NC mountains to make up for that childhood dream.

Inside the enchanting tree house, each room is decorated with velvety wall hangings, fluffy Hogwarts-styled pillows and owls watching you from every perch. Eagle-eyed visitors may also find Hedwig herself sitting in a corner near Harry's school books and luggage.

A spiral staircase – where each step is a spell – leads to a loft, where visitors are encouraged to fly their own house flag.

If you look closely, you may even find the secret entrance to the Ministry of Magic.

According to the Airbnb page, the castle is roughly 600 sq.ft. and offers access to Netflix, YouTube and board games for the family.

With a deck encircling the castle, the views outside seem every bit as magical.

"Each property has expansive windows in order to take in the long-range mountain views," says the Airbnb page.

And if Harry Potter isn't your magical preference, there's always the hobbit hole – and several statewide options for haunted rentals around Halloween.
