YAKIMA, WASH. — On Wednesday, the Yakima Fire Department hosted its 23rd annual Spaghetti Feed to raise money for the Washington State Council of Firefighters Burn Foundation..

Fire Station 91, located at 401 N. Front St, started serving spaghetti plates at 4 p.m.

Firefighters started preparing the food the night before to prepare for the large crowd they were expecting.

Tickets for adults 18 and over was $7.50 for children and seniors tickets were $5.

All money raised when to the cause.

Jeff Pfaff, PIO of the Yakima Fire Department said that people from the community who get burnt go over to Harbor View for treatment.

"The council foundation actually supports the families and those people that are burnt by fire," said Pfaff.
