Three injured in east Durham wreck
Three people were seriously injured Thursday night in a two-vehicle wreck on Holloway Street near Rochelle Street, Durham police said.

DURHAM, N.C. — Three people were seriously injured Thursday night in a two-vehicle wreck on Holloway Street near Rochelle Street, Durham police said.
One person in a Mercedes and two others in a Ford Focus were extricated from their vehicles, police said. Another person was in the Mercedes but was not cut from the vehicle.
No information was immediately available regarding the extent of their injuries.
The front end of the Mercedes was destroyed, with the vehicle resting on a slanted power pole.
The roadway was closed while police investigated the accident.
