WRAL's Bill Leslie served as Master of Ceremonies at Governor's Awards for Excellence
Former WRAL news anchor Bill Leslie served as the Master of Ceremonies for the first-ever online presentation of The Governor's Awards for Excellence. The awards recognize accomplishments outside of the usual scope of an honoree's job duties. Two honorees also received the Spirit of North Carolina award. This award recognizes a career of contributions, and until today had only been given twice since 1982.
