RALEIGH, N.C. — Fair food, new recipes and a mountain hike are on the agenda this weekend.
Get your fair food fix via this drive-thru event - Get a taste of the North Carolina State Fair without leaving your car. The will be hosting Drive-Thru Fair Food Days May 22 - 25 and May 29-31. The events will run noon to 8 p.m. daily. Sales will be cash only. Food items include funnel cake, deep fried Oreos and smoothies served in a giant pineapple.

Take a hike at Occoneechee Mountain - In addition to hiking, there are also a pair of ponds for fishing for bass and bream.
