Work from a luxury suite at Durham Bulls Athletic Park
Want to step up your remote working situation?
Posted — UpdatedRentals are $100 per day for a luxury suite and $150 per day for the owner's suite.
Suite rentals are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and there can be up to six people per suite. Masks are required while you are in the building.
Reservations must be made at least two business days prior to the date you wish to book. Parking is included, and there are grab-and-go snack options for purchase.
Suite guests also get 10 percent off at the ballpark gift shop.
What's it like to work in a suite at the DBAP?
I worked from a luxury suite this week, and it was relaxing. It was nice to be able to step outside of the suite and have some fresh air and look at the field, which was being worked on with some tractors resurfacing dirt.
The WiFi is great, so you shouldn't miss any important meetings. Each guest gets a bottle of water or cup of coffee. There are also snack options (oatmeal, chips, candy, soft drinks) for sale at a snack kiosk.
Lunch is a treat since you can walk to one of the nearby restaurants like Moe's, Only Burger, Tobacco Road, Boricua Soul or Mellow Mushroom and get take-out to bring back to your suite.
Having worked from home since March, I have to say that getting out to the DBAP for a few days helped me feel a little more normal during this pandemic. It was so great to be back in the Bull City.
