Woman warning drivers about road hazard hospitalized after hit-and-run

Raleigh, N.C. — A woman was recovering at a hospital Saturday morning, after being hit by a car on Ten-Ten Road overnight.
She was hit while attempting to flag down and warn passing drivers about an accident ahead, where a speeding driver had hit a utility pole and caused power outages.
Officials said a white Kia Soul crashed into the woman and then took off from the scene.
According to officials, she has a broken leg.
