Authorities identify woman, children found dead in Lillington

Authorities said a woman, 35, and her two children, 3-years-old and 21-months-old, were found dead Friday afternoon inside a home at 98 Cherry Hill Drive in Lillington.

LILLINGTON, N.C. — Authorities said a woman, 35, and her two children, 3-years-old and 21-months-old, were found dead in Lillington Friday afternoon inside a home at 98 Cherry Hill Drive in the Oakmont neighborhood near Anderson Creek.

Deputies responded to 98 Cherry Hill Drive around 4 p.m. for a “well-being check,” after receiving calls from a neighbor.

The three people were identified as Danielle Falls Biggs, 35, and her two children, Benjamin Biggs, 3, and Gwendolyn Biggs, 21 months, officials said.

Authorities said they have not discovered any information to indicate any additional people are involved in the deaths.

No additional information has been released. Officials said an investigation is ongoing.
