RALEIGH, N.C. — A woman was stabbed overnight in the same area where another stabbing occurred five days ago, and the two incidents may be connected.
The stabbing occurred Tuesday around 2 a.m. outside an apartment complex at Western Boulevard and Method Road.
A woman at the scene said her friend was stabbed by another woman in the arm. She was taken to WakeMed.
Five days ago, on Thursday, a 52-year-old man was stabbed to death in the same area, and police made an arrest the next day. The woman said she believes this stabbing was someone's revenge for Thursday’s crime.
Police did not have any information to share about the most recent stabbing.
