<b>JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C.</b> — Johnston County officials on Saturday were trying to identify a body found near NC Highway 50 Friday night.

Authorities said the body was found along Pierce Road, but they have not yet publicly disclosed many details about the case, including if the woman was the victim of foul play.

Anyone with information was asked to call the Johnston County Sheriff's Office.
