A Dudley woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a collision north of Goldsboro, authorities said Wednesday.

<b>GOLDSBORO, N.C.</b> — A Dudley woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a collision north of Goldsboro, authorities said Wednesday.

Jeanne Burroughs Eakes, 41, died when her vehicle crossed the center line of Wayne Memorial Road at Woodside Drive, and collided with another vehicle, authorities said.

No one else was injured in the wreck, which remains under investigation.
