A 76-year-old woman was killed Tuesday in a house fire in Kenly, authorities said.

KENLY, N.C. — A 76-year-old woman was killed Tuesday in a house fire in Kenly, authorities said.
The fire broke out Tuesday afternoon at 1529 Feed Mill Road. The woman was the only person inside, authorities said.
Her name hasn't been released.
The cause of the fire, which destroyed the house, remains under investigation.
