Woman kidnapped in Cary, found in Raleigh

The woman, whose name has not been released, was taken by force from a home at 216 S. Lake Street in Cary at about 2 p.m., police said. She was found, unharmed, in Raleigh a few hours later.

CARY, N.C. — Cary police reported Kiara Jasper, 19, was kidnapped from her home Tuesday afternoon and found hours later in Raleigh.

Police said two suspects – a man and a woman – came to the home at 216 S. Lake St. in Cary and forced Jasper into a car custom-painted in burgundy and white with Budweiser logos on the hood and side.

Jasper was found unharmed, but the suspects are still at large. Cary police are searching for them, and investigating a possible motive.
