Her vehicle ran off the road around 2:30 a.m., hitting a utility pole. The accident happened near Gorman Street.

Ahmad Aqrabawi and his son Abdulah Aqrabawi drove past the crash, did a U-turn and called 911.

“I’m sure anyone else would do the same thing,” Abdulah Aqrabawi said.

Raleigh police say the accident was not weather-related.
