A Fayetteville woman died Sunday from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash, police said Monday.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville woman died Sunday from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash, police said Monday.
Theadora Burkett, 46, of Maggie Street, was thrown from her 2003 Saturn SUV at about 2 a.m. Sunday when the vehicle flipped on the Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway exit ramp to Gillespie Street, police said.
Burkett died at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation.
