<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A woman who was hit by the driver of a pickup truck at the intersection of Village Drive and Boone Trail in Fayetteville has died. 

Tammy Berg died after being hit by a driver in a Nissan Frontier Thursday around 10 p.m. Berg lived in Spring Lake and was 48 years old.

The crash is still under investigation. It's not known if charges will be pressed.

Village Drive at Boone trail was temporarily closed as police investigated.
