Fayetteville, N.C. — Officials were investigating after a woman lost control of the vehicle she was driving, hit a railroad sign, a tree and two homes.
Capt. Brandon Lencall with the Eastover Volunteer Fire Department said the woman lost control of her vehicle coming off some train tracks on Beard Street in Fayetteville. Two people were inside one home but were not near where the crash happened. The second home was unoccupied.
The homes were about 100 feet apart of each other, Lencall said.
The woman was taken to the hospital. There was no word on what caused the crash as officials continued to investigate.
