Woman charged with shooting boyfriend in Lillington

Police said a domestic dispute outside a Lillington home on Saturday sent a man to the hospital and his girlfriend to jail.

LILLINGTON, N.C. — Police said a domestic dispute outside a Lillington home on Saturday sent a man to the hospital and his girlfriend to jail.
Harnett County sheriff's deputies responded to 1417 Matthews Road at about 2:30 p.m. to find Shane Hammond had been shot.
Hammond was taken to WakeMed, and his girlfriend, Krystal L. Jackson was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Deputies listed Jackson's address as 29 Grameta Lane in Lillington. It was not immediately clear why the pair were arguing outside the home on Matthews Road.
