DURHAM, N.C. — On Tuesday night, Alicia Moles was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff's Office for crimes in Hillsborough and Chapel Hill.

A deeper look shows Moles has a lengthy criminal history in addition to the charges she faces now.

Orange County Sheriff's deputies took Alicia Moles into custody just after 10 p.m. Tuesday, after hours of searching by multiple agencies.

Alicia Moles faces charges of second-degree kidnapping, attempted robbery, and possession of a weapon by a felon after two separate incidents.

Moles has past convictions for assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, credit card theft, and numerous drug charges.

These latest charges come just one month after Moles was released from jail.

There are cases pending in Alamance County, related to injury to personal property and larceny, and shoplifting in Durham County as well.

Hillsborough police responded to this credit union at 6 a.m. on Monday.

The victim there said he was approached by Moles asking for a ride, and once she was in his car, she threatened him with a gun.

The man told police Moles demanded he drive to an ATM and take out money, and then she then ran away.

The prosecutor in Orange County Court said in that incident, she took $100.

Twelve hours later, this 911 call to Chapel Hill police shows the terror of the second victim.

"I just got robbed, I'm in my car right now," said the caller.

The caller was in Durham, and she says Moles made her drive to Chapel Hill around 6 p.m.

"I was walking out of a Best Buy at New Hope Commons, and then basically this lady held a gun to me and made me get back in my car and go to this ATM."

The prosecutor says that time, Moles took $300.

"I'm scared because she said she got a photo of my license and if I did anything she was going to hurt me."
