DURHAM, N.C. — Police charged a Durham woman Wednesday in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a 60-year-old man.

Authorities said Tracey Hartman, 34, of Durham, was driving a red 2006 Honda Accord around 2 a.m. Wednesday on Liberty Street near Spruce Street when she hit Raul Moreno. Responding officers were given a description of the vehicle and a license tag.

About 10 minutes after the crash, officers saw the Honda on South Gregson Street next to the Durham Police Department's headquarters and pulled it over.

Hartman was charged with felony hit-and-run and driving while her license was revoked, police said.

Moreno was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening, authorities said.
