TRENTON, N.J. — A person in New Jersey just got a whole lot richer.
The winning ticket matched all six numbers plus the gold Mega Ball in Friday night's drawing to win the estimated prize of $521 million, which comes out to $317 million in cash. The prize is the fourth largest in the history of the game.

“Hearty congratulations to New Jersey for their big Mega Millions win,” said Gordon Medenica, Mega Millions Lead Director and Maryland Lottery and Gaming Director. “The whole country can’t wait to meet the newest millionaire, but we all shared in the fun of playing.”

The white balls were 11, 28, 31, 46 and 59, and the gold Mega Ball was 1.

Two other tickets, sold in Ohio and Texas, matched the five white balls to win $1 million each.

The jackpot now resets to its starting value of $40 million ($24 million cash) for the next drawing on Tuesday, April 3.
