As I wrote on Saturday, we're going to have lots of contests coming up. And we're starting today with a contest for five sports shirt made by North Carolina-based Eclissi Apparel.
The line of sports shirts for woman was created by Martha Garzon, a native of Colombia , South America who has spent her career working at tennis clubs in the United States.
Garzon was inspired after her own father had a case of melanoma that was surgically removed from his leg. And she was lucky to have some incidents where no malignity was found.
"After reading the statistics on this type of cancer it is overwhelming to see how many people get touched by it daily," Garzon writes on her website. "This pushed me to create an athletic line that is light, breathable and can have the maximum protection against the UV rays."
Her line provides SPF 50+ protection and is designed for quicker evaporation of perspiration.
I have five shirts to give away to five women (who will win whatever size they need)!
How do you enter? There are three ways and you can do all of them!
1. Sign up for our Go Ask Mom email newsletter by clicking here.
2. Follow wralmoms on Twitter and retweet about the contest.
3. Answer the following question in the comments below: Do you put on sunscreen everyday or just during the summer?
This contest ends at 5 p.m. Sept. 17. Winners will be chosen at random. The winners' user names or Twitter IDs will be posted in this post by (UPDATED TO SAY) noon Sept. 21. I will also email the winners or direct message them by Twitter. Each winner must respond to the email or direct message by noon Sept. 25 or a runner-up will be selected. Good luck!
(Sorry for the delay in announcing the winner, which originally was going to be 10 p.m. Friday. We just have some staffing issues, but I'll post it as soon as I can.)
And our winners (sorry again for the delay!): jamie.batchelor, anclontz, tooyv, fndcastiller, kidsnbooks. If that's your user name, I just sent you an email. Get back to me by noon Sept. 25.
