Wilson, N.C. — Wilson County Sheriff's officials on Sunday arrested a man who allegedly stabbed another man in the abdomen Saturday.
Jonathan Wayne Darden was taken into custody after police began surveillance on a residence where he was seen.
Darden allegedly stabbed David Miller in the abdomen at Cherry Apartments, 333 E. Nash St., police said. Miller also had lacerations on his face and injuries to his head.
He was taken to Wilson Medical Center and then airlifted to Pitt County Memorial Hospital, officials said. Miller was listed in critical but stable condition Saturday.
Darden's bond has not been set at this time.
