Wilson bank robbers caught minutes after hold-up

A suspect and two alleged accomplices were captured, the money recovered and the three taken into custody without incident.

WILSON, N.C. — Wilson Police foiled a bank robbery Friday afternoon just five minutes after it was reported.
A suspect and two alleged accomplices were captured, the money recovered and the three taken into custody without incident.

Witnesses at the BB&T Bank at 223 W. Nash St. were able to describe the suspect and his getaway vehicle so that police quickly located them at the intersection of South and Lodge streets.

Daniel Earl Dunn, 49, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. Travis Lee Anderson, 27, and James Authur Taylor Jr., 25, were charged with accessory after the fact.
