Willie Nelson, Elvis Costello bring summer music fest to NC
Willie Nelson, Sturgill Simpson and Alison Krauss are among the headliners of the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, which will hit Raleigh this summer.
Posted — UpdatedEach tour stop will include local cuisine, craft beer and works by local artisans.
The inaugural Outlaw Music Festival debuted in 2016 in Scranton, Pennsylvania featuring Willie Nelson and Family, Neil Young and Promise of the Real, Sheryl Crow, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Lee Ann Womack and Cabinet. The sold-out show was so well received that Nelson partnered with the event promoter Blackbird Presents again to take the show on the road in 2017.
The initial lineup for Raleigh includes Willie Nelson, Sturgill Simpson, Alison Krauss and Delta Rae. The Charlotte show will feature Nelson, Simpson, Elvis Costello and The Imposters, Old Crow Medicine Show and Brandi Carlile. More artists will be added for each city.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 26, via Live Nation. Citi Card members have access to pre-sale tickets starting Tuesday, March 13.
