CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Willie Nelson and The Avett Brothers are bringing The Outlaw Music Festival back to Charlotte later this month.
During last month's festival stop in Charlotte, Nelson walked off the stage, and fans were told he felt sick. A video posted by a YouTube user showed Nelson setting down his guitar before throwing his cowboy hat to the crowd and leaving the stage.

Nelson performed in the night before at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek during the Outlaw Music Festival, which featured a line-up of other artists including Sturgill Simpson and Alison Krauss.

Nelson, The Avett Brothers and Jamey Johnson will headline the festival on June 20 at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte. Sarah Shook and the Disarmers will kick off the show.

Tickets purchased for the May 26 show will be honored. Additional tickets will also be available for sale.
