today. A local hospital system is expanding its covid 19 vaccine booster shot program. This follows the C. D. C. S decision to allow frontline workers to get the shot. It means that they can start to either make their appointments or they can walk into any locations just like this one and we have a list of who is eligible. Take a look 18 or older with certain health conditions. Anyone 65 and older there's gonna be things like diabetes for those health conditions, obesity or cancer. Anyone who is at least 18 with a job that puts them at higher risk or getting and transmitting the virus and residents in long term care settings. Now, if you were fully vaccinated with visor at least six months ago, which would land you at about March 27th, you're eligible for the booster Cape Fear Valley Health says appointments are encouraged but again, they are allowing walk ins.
