Forward Dariq Whitehead announced on Twitter Wednesday that he would declare for the NBA Draft after a single season at Duke.

Whitehead, from New Jersey, averaged 20 minutes per game over 28 games for the Blue Devils, and contributed an average of 8.3 points and 2.4 rebounds.

"I will always be a Blue Devil," Whitehead wrote in the tweet.

The early entry deadline for underclassmen wishing to declare for the 2023 NBA Draft is April 23. However, the early entry withdrawal deadline for underclassmen who wish to maintain their collegiate eligibility is May 31.

The NBA Draft Combine is set for May 14-21 in Chicago.

The 2023 NBA Draft is set for June 22 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
